The Granda full-edge camp built for my
Granadines and my Andalusians.
This shows the three pieces that make up the camp.

The Granada full-edge camp set up at the edge of a DBA game board, with my Granada and Andalusian
armies arrayed out in front of it and on its walls. Note that the gates are based on the real gateway
and are in scale with the 15mm figures. In this image, the gateway, that actually represents the DBA
camp where the piece overlaps onto the board, is positioned in the center.

The walls of Granada again, this time with the gateway/camp lined up on the left. Note that
the line separating the edge of the board and the edge of the terrain are quite obviouse,
making it easy to see where the board ends and the terrain starts.

Granada once more with the gateway/camp lined up on the far right.

The back of the Granada full-edge camp. It's a good view of the field of battle from
the top of the walls!

Herei s a picture of the Granada full-edge camp. This is the back of the gateway showing
the door that gives access to the wall and the top of the gate. The door is based on the
images of the doors in Alhambra an other Andalusian sites that I have seen.

This full-edge camp represents the British hill fort of Dinorben around 120 BCE. Incidentally,
Phil Barker starts the ancient British DBA army list at 55 BCE... I guess the martians made this
before the celtic British got there!

The British hill fort set up against the edge of a DBA game board. Although it is a 15mm scale replica of the
gates of Dinorben, it could easily play the role of a Viking fort as well, not ot mention the plethora of
other cultures that made similar forts in Northen Europe. Here the gateway is lined up in the center position.

The hill fort again, this time with its gate lined up on the far left. The gateway houses the legal DBA camp.

A close up of the gate of the full-edge fort camp. The warriors peer convincingly over the top
of the gateway walls!

Another view of the gateway of the hill fort.

A view of the back of the full-edge camp hill fort. DBA elements with a base depth of
20mm fit comfortably on the walls. It's a great place to put destroyed elements during a game.

The Scots-Irish attack a British hill fort! I wouldn't want to be in that chariot
when it hits the ditch!

This is the three-piece, full-edge camp representing the medieval walls of Cagliari.
It is loosely based on the walls of Avignon

The Cagliari full-edge camp set up on the edge of a DBA game board. Here the gateway,
which also includes the legal DBA camp overlaping the game board is lined up in the middle.

Cagliari again, set up with the gate/camp on the far right.

Cagialry full-edge camp with the gate/camp lined up on the far left.

A close up of the gateway of the Cagliari full-edge camp. Here you can clearly see
how the legal DBA camp overlaps the game board.

The walls of the great Adobe walled city of Reyen in Iran. This camp is for my
Islamic Persian DBA army.
It is approximately a true 15mm scale representation of the fortress walls. Unlike all of the
previous full-edge DBA camps in this gallery, this one is made up of a single piece. As a consequence
camp positioning is restricted to only one spot as facilitated by the place where the gateway overlaps
onto the game board.

Here is the Reyen camp lined up on the edge of a DBA game board. The hordes of
city malitia are emerging from the gate while the archers stay safely up on the walls!

The Safavid cavalry ride out from the gates of the city to make war on the Ottomans!

A close up view of the doorway out of the city. There is another one of these (executed a bit better)
on the front side as well, but that one was impossible to take a good picture of...

The hardest part of this project was matching the colours... The match isn't exactly
perfect... but I am pretty happy with it.
