The first of two 1/43 scale police cars that I picked up for cheap on your favourite Internet auction site. This car is cool, and although it is 1/43, it works pretty well with 28mm scale figs. It is a little tall, but compared to head/hand size, weapons size and relative proportions, it works well. It is also cool because it has a trunk that opens! Not sure why a toy company would have an opening trunk, but it makes things cool for me as a mini gamer... I can now model the contents of the trunk... What to put in there? >:)

Advertised at 1/43 scale, I think this car must actually be a bit closer to 1/40. It is big, and so is possibly the most out of scale car in my collection for 28mm gaming. That being said, it still isn't all that bad, and I will use it... Of course, I won't use it in the form that it is in... Salt Lake Police? They need a new design department I think! And yes, this car's trunk opens as well. I wonder what the Mormon cops might keep hidden away >:)

This truck fails to have any displayed scale, but it is likely 1/64 scale. For 28mm miniatures, it is a small truck. That being said, trucks come in all different sizes, and so although this particular truck might be smaller than it should be, a similar looking truck could certainly have this size. As such, I am happy with this one for 28mm gaming.

This truck has no advertised scale, but if I had to guess I would say about 1/64 scale. It is certainly small for 28mm miniatures, however semi trucks come in many different sizes, and so it is passable I think. Also, these trucks aren't so common, so it is harder to notice scale issues as easily. It works for me!

The porsche is an interesting one. In 1/43 scale it is noticably big for 28mm gaming. However, it is still in the normal car size range... So, it is about the right size for a mid-size North American car like the Toyota Corolla or something. As such, it works!

This fire truck doesn't have an scale on it, but it looks about 1/43 scale. It is certainly big, but because fire trucks are big, and not all that common, I think few people would notice the scale that much, and so this of all the 1/43 scale vehicles works the best with 28mm miniatures. Also, as with the other vehicles, the 1/48+ scale of the heads/hands on the 28mm miniatures makes it even more believable.
