pretty happy with the painting and the converting!

The goalie was naturally going to have to be the Frankenstein gollem monster in the set.
I didn't have to touch the pose thankfully, since it's a monopose it would have been tough.
I added some wooden pads with some extra leather bits, a stick, and a face mask. I wanted to
leave the mask unpainted just to give it the Friday the 13th vibe, the whole horror thing
afterall. I also didn't do a catching glove; I figured this goalie would be more about punching...

One skate boot, and one foot has the blade just fixed directly through the top of the
foot. Why fix a boot when it's a gollem and you can just bolt the blade to the foot?
You can also see the back of the board leg pads.

It's kind of an odd pose for a football player, but for a hockey player it's really a
a snapshot of a very dynamic hockey pose. Either stopping on one foot, or in the middle
of a fast turn with crossovers. The lean is really an ice hockey thing. This might be my
favourite pose of all of them.

From the back the pose looks like a slightly off-balance crossover. It could also
be a hard one-legged stop too I guess. I really like the hard lean for sure.

I think this pose was the worst football pose of all of these figs, so wooden and
not dynamic. I know that was the point, but I didn't like it. As a hockey player,
instead of a wooden pose, this is a very dynamic pose, showing the player just taking off
into a sprint up the ice, or coming to a rapid stop on the back outside edge. I really like it,
I think it worked out well.

From this back ankle you can't see the front leg at all, which is kinda odd to be honest. Despite that
I like the angle and the snap-shot dynamic moment that the pose captures.

In this picture you can really see how I fit the stick in front of the knee. Maybe from
this angle it looks a little odd, but still a convincing cartoonish pose for a hockey player.

The pose for this fig was pretty good before the conversion, but having the back foot
off the ice adds to the dynamic element of the figure. Note that I rpelaced the head on
this one. The original was a goofy medieval helmet, and this Mantic Zombie head with the
hair swept back works pretty well for the undead zombie hockey flow!

Love the pumpkin helmet on this one! I'm pretty happy with how this figure turned out, the pose was
pretty awesome to convert as well. It's an aggressive stance that works pretty well.

The back photo shows how the bones are painted, as well as how the skates look. Unfortunately I did the
skate blades a little small, so you can't see them all that well. Other than that, I'm super happy with this fig!

All three forwards together so far. Actually, they may be forwards, but since there we three
and there are three forwards... I'm thinking they are looking good together so far. Two more skaters
and a goalie and we're ready to go!

The first converted and painted figure for my Ulfenkarn Monsters fantasy ice hockey
team. I had fun converting and painting this one. I took the NHL flames colours for this
one just because it fits with the autumn context! Note that this figure is **supposed**
to look stiff...
