This mech aka battle armour was the first mech to be shown in the Japanese animated series Fang of the Sun Dougram, which is the first appearance, after which battletech licensed the design for their universe. I couldn't resist doing a pilot in the Goliath aka Crabgunner (Dougram) in the classic orange outfit from the series. In the series there are three crew operating this battle armour, with the one in the top being the gun operator. These are the colours that were used in the original series as well.
